The other day as I was pulling into the gym around 5:30 am (or o'dark thirty as my friend Ange says), I saw the most amazing moon scene. The trees up here still don't have any leaves on them. In the darkness, they looked mysterious the way the shadows loomed on them. The moon was HUGE and full! The trees framed it perfectly. I sat for a moment in awe. It was such an amazing sight that it has been stuck in my head since then. I decided to create this card for my husband to celebrate our upcoming anniversary. I started off with a different idea in my min but after some "playing" around, I came up with this fun easel card.

First Craft Show
Yesterday we went to our first craft show! My cousins, friend, and I started a company called Ali Pop Creations! We took mini albums, cards, post-it note holders, duct tape pens, tea light roses, and other crafty things with us! It was a lot of fun networking and getting our creations out to the public. We're looking into other craft shows. I can't wait to see what is ahead for us!
Here is a picture of our booth.

Scrap Box Card
Last night I realized I needed a baby shower card for work. I pulled some scraps out of my scrap box and made this cute card in no time. The paper was left over from a baby boy mini album I had made. I used a scalloped oval Spellbinder to cut the "boy" out of the other side of the background paper. Then I used a regular oval to cut out the blue to go around the boy sign. Next I used a Stampin' Up punch to make the blue boarder. I put the background together and attached it to the base. Then I popped up the boy sign with foam, added some Stickles, and viola! Instant card. Scraps at their finest!!!!
